IMX Software Achieves a Microsoft Gold ISV/Software Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network
IMX Software, the global leader in banknote trading and travel money technology solutions, today announced its latest Microsoft partner status of Gold Independent Software Vendor/Software Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network, demonstrating its continued ability to meet Microsoft customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment. To earn a Microsoft Gold Competency, organisations must complete a rigorous set of tests to prove their level of technology expertise, have the right number of Microsoft Certified Professionals, submit customer references and demonstrate their commitment to customer satisfaction by participating in an annual survey.
IMX Software provides solutions to a significant number of blue chip banking and travel money clients across the globe. Its solutions, built on Microsoft .NET, support the operations of clients engaged in global wholesale currency and banknote trading; currency distribution and fulfilment; and the branch and online retailing of foreign exchange products. In 2010, following significant product investment, IMX Software delivered its new Global Trading System (GTS) to its first client. Building on twenty years of industry and product expertise, GTS consolidates wholesale trading, retail and e-commerce solutions on an advanced, single .NET technology platform to deliver significant business process, systems integration, reporting and compliance benefits to customers.
“The Gold ISV (Independent Software Vendor/Software Competency) status is a recognition of the on-going investment IMX is making to support and harness modern technology standards to differentiate our products and services, as well as demonstrate our commitment to an expanding list of customers relying on Microsoft-based enterprise solutions,” said Bill Tickner, Chief Executive Officer at IMX Software. “In early 2012 we will launch the industry’s most modern and integrated banknote and FX trading system which is built entirely on Microsoft’s open, industry-leading technology.”
The Microsoft Gold Competency signifies to the market that a company has demonstrated the highest level of skill and achievement within a given technology specialisation. “The Microsoft Partner Network is designed to empower solution providers to succeed in today’s business environment. By achieving the prestigious Gold competency, participating companies are provided with a rich set of benefits, including increased customer visibility through branding and accessibility, training and support,” said Jon Roskill, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “We are proud to put forth a program that provides the right resources to help a company develop the expertise customers demand in today’s competitive market and also provides the community and infrastructure that can connect them to one another, lowering costs for all parties.”
